Lightweight Wheelchairs

Although there is no official weight given to denote lightweight and ultra-lightweight wheelchairs it is generally considered that any wheelchair below 12Kg is lightweight, and below 10kg is ultra-lightweight. These low weights are achieved by reducing the features on the wheelchairs to reduce the need for additional welds, screws and brackets. Lightweight wheelchairs are great for short-term use.
